Climate Emergency Interactive – Trailer
The film, created by staff and students from across UAL, won The People's Voice in the Public Service and Activism category at The Webby Awards. Beating off strong competition from Lady Gaga, among others, the win is all the more sweet because it came for a resolutely collaborative and cross-organisational project.
The Climate Emergency Interactive is a film that introduces students to the climate emergency then asks questions, relates it to creative practice and gives its audience the tools for action. It was commissioned by the Climate Emergency Network and developed through the Climate Emergency Assembly process.
"This was a truly collaborative effort by a group of students and staff. It breaks through traditional ideas of 'e-learning' to create a social, interactive approach to educating people about the Climate Emergency. It's a collective conversation not just about causes but about solutions - political and creative. It shows the amazing things we can create at UAL when we get together and put our minds to it."
